Johan & Sofie
Another day of thirty degrees and an intense sun.
It's unusual for Swedish summers to get this warm. You usually need to plan ahead to find shelter for the rain; this day we hardly found shade.
Just the way I want it.
This particular day and the images from it, are very important to me for various reasons. The first reason is that it's the wedding of my brother and my lovely sister-in-law. All of the people I hold near were there.
The second is that my grandmother was very tired on the day and couldn't make it to the wedding. Johan & Sofie couldn't imagine her not being part of their wedding day, so they came to her instead.
Actions like this one, is what makes Johan & Sofie one of my favorite couples. Not only do they bring out the best in each other; they are incredibly caring and always make sure that the people around them are in a good place.
This turned out to be the last time we visited our grandmother, who passed away two weeks later. I'm happy our last memories together are so vivid and so bright, filled with the kind of happiness only a wedding can bring.
This is the story of Johan and Sofie's wedding day. Pure joy.
