Spontanious shoots...

...I love them. The best thing that goes with having a hobby, is that when you haven't got anything to do--you actually do have something to do. There is always that camera lying there, dying to be used.

Today was one of those days, when I felt so restless in this thing they call a "village". So I took my boyfriend for a walk, and took some shots along the way. For some reason, I never get tired of shooting portraits.

Do you wanna know one of the biggest secrets of photography?

Take loads of pictures. Hundreds. Don't be afraid to take pictures against the sun, get closer, go further away... You're not shooting film, are you? You can afford to take bad shots. You will only need that one.

I saved 5% of the RAW files today.

Ahlgren Web Development shoot

Scenario 1: Me, a photographer, in desperate need of a website.Scenario 2: My boyfriend, a web developer, in desperate need of pictures for his new website.

Well, they say one plus one equals two, so naturally we did an exchange of services. We went for a long and successful shoot - me, my guy and his business partner. In return, he made me this awesome website. Is there anything better than win-win situations? I think not.

We approached this photoshoot with three main slogans in mind -- the same three words that set the base for their company:

Professional. Clean. Nerdy.

We needed avatars, partner shots, and a couple of typical business photos. These are a couple of finished photos, from the first selection:

And one taste of what the pictures came to look like on the finished website:
