Iceland

I went to Iceland--slaughtered 30K sheep--and then flew home again. I've never had two months go by so fast before. Not because the job was very satisfying (because it wasn't), but maybe from having a set routine. When you work all the time, somehow the weeks seem to go faster. Why, the trip did serve its purpose.

So, now I'm home again, and it's time to start up my business for real. I got two months to work my ass off, before it's time to move on to New Zealand. Let's hope these months will be longer.

This is how much time I got for photography, while on Iceland:

Lauren and Jesse ~ Wedding

This summer, something amazing happened. Lauren Cooper, one of my very closest friends, was getting married in Minnesota--to her (now) spouse, Jesse Jerle. Together with their incredibly generous parents, the two of them hosted a wedding party at Lauren's partents' farm. Preparations had been going on for a year prior to the wedding. The whole barn, where they used to keep hens and sheep, was rebuilt to become the most beautiful two-floor banquet hall. There was a bar built. They had wishing trees. Great amounts of food. Well-aware details everywhere. They even had horses for the big entrance. All in all, it was a very American experience.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
