Lyndey Milan ~ Media launch

When I was asked a couple of days in advance, if I wanted to capture (the gorgeous) Lyndey Milan's launch for her new series "Lyndey and Herbie's moveable feast"... Well, I guess my answer is pretty self-evident. So on a sunny spring day I went to the Foodstore in the harbor, to capture an hour or so from a fancy lunch with all these media personalities. My job is just too awesome.

Pead PR (who hired me for this event) wanted mostly posed social pictures since they were going to send these to a couple of weekend magazines. But after a while I got to capture some in-action shots as well--just the way I like it!

Belgian Beer Café - De Fontein

Last week, I went to Mission Bay to do some food photography. I had just been in the restaurant for a coffee before and little did I know about what would be presented to me. De Fontein is a restaurant beautifully located by the beach, and is a part of the Belgian Beer Café chain. What blew me away primarily was their HUGE variety of beer. They came in all different sizes, forms, and colors when they were brought out to pair with the food.

Oh, the food... Dish after dish that was put on the table looked stunning. There must have been some creative minds at work to make those plates. I'm not sure if it's my European heritage speaking, but that Belgian sausage looks most enticing to me... Definitely going back for that one!
